I'm so touched by your well wishes! Thank you so much. Today was a whirlwind! I'll try to backtrack and remember everything.
I had some cantaloupe and watermelon for a snack:
It was a Tuscan Cantaloupe from Whole Foods, but I didn't notice much of a difference between that and regular cantaloupe.
I also had a yummy bowl of pumpkin, whipped cream, cinnamon, and sprinkles.
My kind of comfort food! Haha.
I went to Target, and while I was there I posted my first Operation Beautiful note! I put it in the women's bathroom by the mirror.
I hope it made at least one person smile!
My lunch was a huge salad with goat cheese and Annie's marinade. Funny story, though. I was taking pictures of my salad, and then all of the sudden my cat comes up and starts sniffing it. He wasn't actually touching it, so I thought it was funny. The photo sequence:
But then he looked like he was actually gonna try and eat it (I wouldn't put it past him--he's 21 pounds!), so I was like "okay! photoshoot over!" Haha, I love that cat.
I also cooked up my first kabocha squash, following Chocolate-Covered Katie's instructions.
It was so yummy! I ate some plain, and it tasted like a cross between butternut squash, sweet potato, and pumpkin. I loved it. I can't wait to try it in oatmeal.
Then I went to the mall with my Mom to pick up a neck pillow. We got a really nice "n.a.p." one from Brookstone.
I had more food throughout the day, but I can't really remember it. Haha, sorry I'm a little spacey. I did take a picture of some of my dinner:
I got inspiration from the beautiful K and made a piece of toast with cottage cheese and cinnamon.
It was really yummy! Cinnamon makes anything better :) I also had another bowl of cottage cheese and cinnamon for some extra protein.
I also had a banana with dark chocolate dreams peanut butter.
I sliced the banana open, put the pb inside, and then closed it back up and made little banana slices. I've seen it on the blogs, but I don't remember who did it. Whoever it was, you had a great idea ;)
Ummm, oh! Then we went for a walk. It was nice. Probably the last time I'll be outside for a while. Ok so now I'm gonna finish up reading blogs, take my shower with my special antibacterial soap they gave me, and try to sleep? I have to take another shower with the soap again in the morning before surgery, which sucks if you ask me. I mean, we already have to leave at 5:40 am. So I'll probably have to wake up super early--that is, if I manage to sleep. Maybe I'll just have a dance party all night. Haha! I've had that song "Fire Burning" by Sean Kingston stuck in my head like mad for the last several days. I keep bursting out into song, much to my family's dismay. Of course, it amuses me to no end when my mom randomly starts singing "somebody call 911! Shawty fire burning on the dance floor! woah!" Haha, I told you I kept singing/playing it ;) I hope I don't wake up from anesthesia singing it...
This will be my last post before surgery. I'll probably be at the hospital until 3-5 pm tomorrow. I'm going to go in there positive and think of everything I'm thankful for, instead of spending time focusing on the negatives. Bring it on! ;)
I hope all you beauties have a wonderful night, and a nice day tomorrow. You are all so lovely, caring people :)

Don't get a neck pillow at the mall. Treat your mom to the ones that i found at bucky.com. They rock! My mom suffered from terrible FM and i bough her their neck and back and bodywrap and she is a new person.
